Gutter Lining

Gutter lining is an essential material placed into a gutter to add a waterproof lining to existing gutters. They have many benefits including getting rid of the need for expensive, time-consuming and disruptive structural work. Gutter lining is very cost-effective in situations where it is cheaper to place down than get a whole new gutter replacement. It will also cause minimal downtime and disturbance for sites. It is usually used on commercial and/or industrial sites where the existing guttering is found in the middle ridge of two roofs.

The lining creates a fully watertight gutter within the existing gutter. This means the originally gutter is left untouched and in its current condition. The material is flexible enough to mould around the existing gutter and it will take into account temperature change without cracking or splitting into 2 or multiple pieces.

Fin lock Gutters

Fin lock guttering systems are concrete gutters that were commonly built onto properties from 1950 to around 1970. A company called Royston was mainly responsible for the manufacturing of these gutter systems. These gutters have been in the housing market for decades and more recently than ever, more and more companies are in the market to maintain and repair these gutters.

Fin lock concrete gutters are composed of two horizontal channels that sit at the top of cavity walls. One channel is the visible gutter, while the other one crosses the cavity (the space between the walls) and rests on the internal wall.
