Torch On Felt

Torch on felt roofing is a solution designed using 3 layers of felt. It starts off as being rolled out across the roof surface and then our contractors will heat it up using a blow torch. This then melts the lower layers of the felt. Essentially, it creates a welding effect on the roof. This layer of felt is excellent and impenetrable, preventing leaks and keeping it stuck firmly in place.

It’s generally not a good idea for non-professionals to install torch-on felt roofing, as it involves using a large blowtorch while being on top of a roof. Torch on felt roofing has many benefits including being waterproof, strong and durable, adding long-term value to the property and more! GRP - Fiberglass Roof

A GRP flat roof is also known as a fiberglass roof and in the UK, it is widely accepted as the most popular method for flat roofing. GRP stands for glass reinforced polyester which is a material made from the process of strengthening plastic with fibers made from glass.

For around 60 years, the piece of single-ply laminate has been used to create a waterproof roof on properties all over the UK. From commercial and domestic projects, as well as boats, lorries and water tanks, GRP flat roofs have been used on almost everything.

The installation of maintenance of a GRP roof type is highly recommended because of the simplicity and safety required for it. As well as this, the finished project will mean your roof has a greater life expectancy than other roof types.

Rubber Roof

A rubber roof is also a brilliant choice for a flat roof or low-slopped roof, as it is impervious to water and will keep your home or business leaks-free for many years. It is also very environmentally friendly, extremely durable and waterproof.

Rubber roofs are becoming increasingly popular as they are extremely durable and low maintenance. They are also very easy to install and have a life expectancy of around 20-25 years but have been known to last up to 50 years.

Rubber is ideal for these types of roofs as shingles and tiles can not be used on flat roofs or on lower raised roofs. The rubberized materials repel water and moisture, protecting the property from floods and leaks for years to come.
